Romance writing

.

We had the first of our seminar workshops today, on Romance writing.

Many thanks to our speakers Yvonne Lindsay and Nalini Singh, who conducted two great workshops.

Much more ground was covered than the title of Romance might suggest.  Everything from getting published, to finding an agent, to finding support and encouragement locally.

Also, finding time and techniques for writing, how to weave the necessary ingredients into a story, and how to engage and carry along the reader.

All who attended I am sure will have left with renewed enthusiasm and inspiration. Certainly the example of our two very accomplished speakers shows just what is possible.

Enthralled

Every great book starts by putting pen to paper.

Like synchronized swimming – but for writers.

See, you can get published.

” I think it’s excellent that this type of opportunity is offered. It will help me develop my skills. “

” Really enjoyed the in-depth talk on world building. Very inspiring. Thanks very much. “
